| SCHOOLARSHIP AWARD |
| The State Bank of India (SBI) awarded the first three toppers of AISSCE – 2008 of our Vidyalaya with a cash award of Rs- 1000/- each. The function was conducted in the Vidyalaya on 26th July 2008 |

| On 22nd Sept 2008 we also conducted Advocacy Program in connection with NAEP for the Parents of the students for IX & XI. |
| ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION |
| The winners of the essay writing competition were given prizes in the CPCRI on 21st July 2008 in connection with the ICAR Foundation Day. The function / competition were held in the PTA Hall of CPCRI, Kasaragod |
| ONAM CELEBRATION |
| September is a month of flowers and festivals in Kerala. In our Vidyalaya we celebrated Onam by conducting several programmes. After the morning assembly there was a brief cultural programme that included Thiruvathirakkali, Drama and Onappaattu. Then the students got busy with the floral designs ie., Pookkalam, also as a part of inter house competition. |
| COMPETITIONS IN HINDI |
| As per the circular from the Hindi section of the Region competitions in Hindi were conducted for the students and the staff – Essay writing, Recitation and Debate. |
| SCIENCE & SOCIAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION, SPORTS |
| From the vidyalaya students were selected to participate in various items conducted in Bangalore and Mangalore KVs. |
